Nadia Linden
Born and raised in Luxembourg, I moved back here in 2017 after 18 years in England. I translate for a living, but my favourite thing to do is exploring our gorgeous countryside on my gravel bike, especially in the Ösling.

A leisurely 20km ride through lovely Ösling valleys along the Wiltz, Himmelbaach, Kirrel and Clerve rivers. The Ardennes landscape holds endless delights, from imposing valleys flanked by steep forested hillsides to more intimate ones, with small streams meandering through fields of grazing cows. Along the way, we can learn about the old quarry near Merkholtz, stop for a drink in Lellingen, or simply stop and listen.

Option for a short hook to the privately owned Schüttburg castle. I’ll also be happy to give tips and suggestions for other bike tours in and around Luxembourg.

I speak EN, FR, DE and LU.

Notes: Around 16% offroad, so no road bikes. Urban bikes OK with somewhat grippy tyres. No Ebikes.
Around 350m of elevation, so moderate cycling fitness required. Two steep, but short stretches can be walked. Wilwerwiltz station is halfway if you need to bail.
Tour will take place in light rain, but not during heavy rain or risk of thunderstorms.
Make sure to bring water and snacks!
