[EN] Anabela and Jorge Valente are the founders of an independent travel and adventure magazine called diariesof (diariesof.lu), which they created in 2014 via crowdfunding. The starting point will be in front of the Gare de Diekirch (train station) near a small sculpture of a train (in bronze) which is located just in front of the station.

From here onwards, we will start our journey through Diekirch and its history, passing through the city center, discovering some historical monuments along the route, strolling along the river Sûre, and also hiking up a nearby hill, which will offer beautiful views but also one or another eery legend. With a little luck, you will even have the opportunity to meet the famous donkeys of Diekirch!

Let yourself be surprised by Diekirch, and come and discover this city from another angle and be immersed in the local culture. So put on your hiking boots, and come explore Diekirch with us!

Ps: People with reduced mobility, are more than welcome to join us on our walk. Please be aware that the last part of the walk (+- 1km) is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, but there will be an alternative route, and the group will gather together again at the end, to share the impressions of the tour.
