Promenade through the urban landscape of Luxembourg City

The tour will highlight the development of the city throughout the years, symbolised by 4 striking ”urban facts” visible from the old town. These 4 trade marks, that are often depicted on postcards, are all marked by a bridge, a tour element and a quarter: The ”Schlassbréck” with the Bock and the old town, the viaduct with the train station and its quarter, the Pont Adolphe with the ”Avenue de la Liberté” and the ”plateau Bourbon”, the Red Bridge with the ”Avenue Grande-Duchesse Charlotte and the ”plateau de Kirchberg”. The main idea is to introduce time-space markers of a city where one can get lost easily between the ”plateau” and the valley, and to discover the confrontation between nature and the urban. From these 4 places: panoramic views, walking paths to get lost or find yourself… and during the promenade, the possibility to share our impressions with each other.
